Pulsation Dampener
Inline device reducing pressure pulsations by up to 70% in positive displacement pump systems.
Reduces pressure pulsations at the pump discharge to protect downstream systems and improve performance.
Requires zero maintenance with no moving parts, reducing life cycle cost and simplifying operation.
Installs easily with pre-labelled nozzles and multiple flange connection options to suit any system.
The Pulsation Dampener from IMI is designed to minimise pressure pulsations downstream of positive displacement pumps. Installed directly at the pump discharge, it reduces system oscillations by up to 70%, improving equipment reliability and performance. With a spherical shell and efficient internal flow design, it creates a rotating fluid mass that naturally dampens fluctuations. The unit is maintenance-free, containing no moving or replaceable parts. Constructed from carbon or stainless steel and suitable for a wide temperature range, the Pulsation Dampener offers easy installation with pre-labelled nozzles and multiple connection options, making it ideal for demanding industrial systems.
