Quick product entry

IMI CCI
DA-90 SE Steam-Assisted Desuperheater
Steam-assisted desuperheater for precise temperature control in variable-load steam systems.
Delivers accurate steam temperature control under varying load and flow conditions.
Reduces risk of thermal stress and damage through fine water atomisation using auxiliary steam.
Enables efficient system performance with simple installation and minimal pressure drop sensitivity.
Features
The DA-90SE is a fixed-nozzle desuperheater from the IMI CCI product range, designed for steam systems where flow velocity is low or fluctuating. It uses auxiliary steam to finely atomise the injected cooling water, delivering effective temperature control with minimal thermal stress. The unit performs reliably even in highly variable load conditions, maintaining temperatures just 5–8°C above saturation. With a compact, stud-welded design and high wear resistance, it installs easily into pipelines of DN150 or larger. The DA-90SE is widely used in power plants and process industries to protect downstream equipment and enhance heat transfer performance.
