FCC and Flue Gas Diverter Valve
High-temperature diverter valve for precise flue gas control in FCC units.
Precise flue gas control improves FCC unit efficiency.
Handles temperatures up to 960°C for high-temperature applications.
Emergency shutdown capability enhances process safety.
The IMI Remosa Diverter Valve is designed for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units, ensuring precise flue gas control by diverting gas to either the CO boiler or the bypass stack. Built to withstand temperatures up to 960°C (1760°F), it features stainless steel internal components, floating cone design for thermal expansion, and optional seat purging to prevent leaks. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) optimise performance and erosion resistance. Available in linear, pendulum, and flip-flop configurations, the IMI Remosa Diverter Valve ensures reliable operation and emergency shutdown capability.
