Fluid-borne noise puts your assets at risk
We designed our Acoustic Control Vantage™ (ACV) technology to protect your critical naval assets and increase their operability at sea. ACV reduces vibration and noise, hence the detectability of submarine valves, piping, and wider internal systems by removing the cavitation effects in restrictive fluid systems. ACV can be applied to any valve and is designed to meet your specific system requirements, extending your component lifespan and minimising your maintenance requirements.
Engineered for silence
ACV uses a 3D-printed, multi-stage insert to control fluid velocity and eliminate cavitation, reducing turbulence and noise at the source. With up to 40 stages, it prevents the sharp pressure drops found in standard valve trims. The insert integrates outside the main flow path, preserving full-port performance while delivering up to 20 dB noise reduction and more stable Cv characteristics.
Key benefits
Get the benefits of advanced flow control engineered for stealth and long-term performance.
Reduces noise and vibration
Minimises fluid-borne noise by up to 20 dB, supporting stealth operations and reducing acoustic signature risk.
Extends valve and system life
Controls cavitation and turbulence, reducing mechanical wear and increasing the operational lifespan of valves and pipework.
Improves flow performance
Enhances Cv characteristics and maintains full-port flow, delivering stable and efficient performance across system conditions.
Compatible with retrofits
ACV inserts can be tailored to existing valve designs, allowing seamless integration without major system changes.
Resists marine fouling
Tested in harsh marine environments, with minimal blockage after 7.5 months in seawater—even under high biofouling pressure.
