Unlike traditional relief systems, HIPPS shuts off flow at the source, using fast-acting final elements and real-time logic. Built around sensors, logic solvers, and fail-safe valves, each system is fully tailored to your site’s pressure, response time, and safety requirements. IMI’s HIPPS combines precision engineering, third-party SIL validation, and optional diagnostics to meet or exceed IEC 61508/61511 and ANSI/ISA standards.
