IMI PBM

Cryogenic Valve for Commercial Marine

Cryogenic ball valve engineered for reliable sealing and flow control at extreme low temperatures.

  • Tick

Maintains secure sealing and flow alignment throughout extreme cryogenic temperature cycles.

  • Tick

Reduces risk of leakage from thermal expansion with independently bolted valve ends.

  • Tick

Supports long-term service life with actuation-ready stem and live-loaded packings.

The IMI PBM Cryogenic Marine Valve is designed to deliver reliable shut-off and sealing in ultra-low temperature environments down to -252°C. Intended for cryogenic service in marine fluid systems, it features a keyed stem-ball interface to ensure correct orientation and consistent flow alignment. Energised seat back gaskets and live-loaded stem packings maintain tight sealing performance throughout repeated thermal cycling. Independently bolted valve ends manage thermal expansion stresses, supporting long-term leak-free operation. Available in a wide range of corrosion-resistant alloys and ANSI pressure classes up to 413 bar, this compact, actuation-ready valve is suited to safety-critical cryogenic applications.
