The IMI Thompson Valves D50E Series is a high-pressure gland packed globe/needle valve designed for nuclear power, aerospace, and hazardous fluid applications. Operating at up to 410 bar (5945 psi) and 230°C (446°F), it ensures positive shut-off with a non-rotating valve disc. The graphite or PTFE gland packing provides leak-tight sealing for hazardous fluids, including steam, helium, and boric acid. Compliant with ASME B&PV Section III standards, it is available in threaded, butt weld, socket weld, and stub pipe configurations, making it a versatile choice for demanding industrial environments.
