The IMI Thompson Valves E79D Series is a lightweight bellows-sealed globe valve designed for nuclear power, aerospace, and hazardous fluid applications. It operates at up to 310 bar (4495 psi) and 340°C (644°F), ensuring positive shut-off with a non-rotating valve disc. A secondary gland packing provides an additional seal, while the 316L stainless steel body ensures durability. Designed for instrumentation and process applications, it meets ASME B&PV Section III standards and supports threaded, butt weld, socket weld, and stub pipe connections. The E79D Series is ideal for nuclear, marine, and defence industries.
