The KC Type Dampened Check Globe Valve is designed for main and bypass feed-water isolation in nuclear power applications. Actuated by system medium, it ensures stable operation under steam, water, and transition conditions. The valve features a special dampening mechanism using a piston, reducing system stress and mitigating water hammer risks. Engineered with fast-closing capability, it delivers high sealing performance and low piping load. Available in forged carbon or stainless steel, it meets various water qualification standards and operates up to Class 1500 and 29.9” (760mm) in size.
