Features
The IMI CCI AB370F is a blowdown control valve designed to mitigate flashing damage caused by high pressure differentials. Its tapered seat ring ensures that pressure reduction occurs gradually, moving flashing points away from the seat surface to prevent erosion. The seat ring also shields the valve body from the damaging effects of water-steam mixtures, reducing wear and extending service life. Built with carbon and alloy steel in an angle body design, the AB370F ensures high durability and precise control. Suitable for ANSI Class 900–2500, it meets FCI/70-2 Class IV or V leakage standards for reliable operation.
Enhanced flashing protection with HFS trim
For applications requiring enhanced resistance to flashing and erosion, the AB370F can be equipped with the optional HFS trim upgrade. This specially engineered large-capacity trim moves the flashing point away from the internal cage and critical seating surfaces, helping to protect the trim from erosion and maintain plug stability even under severe flashing conditions. The HFS design also incorporates a long-skirt seat ring that shields the valve body from water and steam mixtures, reducing the risk of body damage and extending service life in demanding blowdown applications. Its pilot-operated trim design enables lower actuator thrust requirements while maintaining tight shut-off performance.
