The DA-90-OP desuperheater from the IMI CCI product range is engineered for accurate steam temperature control in turbine bypass systems, boilers, and heat exchangers. Its compact design integrates the water control valve and features a single, variable-area spring-loaded nozzle for fine atomisation and stable control across wide load variations. The design minimises thermal stress and cavitation, protecting downstream equipment and maintaining system integrity. Suitable for both continuous and intermittent service, it handles steam temperatures up to 545°C and is easy to install into existing pipelines using flanged or pressure seal connections.
