The DAM-B Steam Attemperator from IMI provides precise steam temperature regulation for boilers and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). Designed for inter-stage and final-stage attemperation, it ensures controlled injection of water into superheated steam to maintain optimal temperatures. Its ring-style design features welded profiling liners to minimise thermal shock and erosion. Spring-loaded atomising nozzles ensure fine spray distribution with minimal pressure drop in the steam line. Compliant with ANSI and DIN standards, the DAM-B is built for high-capacity, high-temperature applications, making it an ideal solution for protecting downstream equipment and enhancing thermal efficiency in industrial systems.
