The DAM-D Steam Desuperheater from IMI ensures precise steam conditioning by combining pressure reduction and temperature control. Its innovative dual-stage design features perforated cylinders for pressure reduction and spring-loaded atomising nozzles for even spray water distribution. The DAM-D improves flow patterns, eliminates thermal liners, and reduces noise and vibration in the steam line. Customisable for high-capacity and high-temperature applications, it supports ANSI and DIN standards and is ideal for severe operating conditions. Designed for integration with pressure control valves, it protects downstream equipment and enhances steam performance in boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), and power plants.
