The SHP-SIS Safety Smart High-Performance Positioner is a digital pneumatic positioner designed specifically for use in safety instrumented systems (SIS). It provides a reliable safety function for blow down and emergency shut down valve actuation in critical on/off applications. The positioner features a patented algorithm and flow system, delivering ultra-fast stroking times for enhanced safety performance. It includes online data monitoring, advanced online and offline diagnostics, and built-in partial stroke testing (PST) capabilities to ensure compliance with functional safety requirements and support preventative maintenance.
The SHP-SIS is equipped with digital twin technology for seamless online swap-over during emergencies, a complete digital inventory of valve configuration and performance history, and smart commissioning for faster setup. The device is TUV certified for SIS applications and is certified according to IEC 61508:2010 up to SIL 3 for both electrical and pneumatic applications. Its robust design includes a contactless travel sensor, a tough touchscreen interface, and fully encapsulated electronics tested for high vibration and reliability. The positioner is suitable for single and double acting, standard and remote mounting, and offers flexible installation options for various actuator types.
