Meeting industry challenges

High performance valves for your iron and steel facility

At IMI, we provide advanced valve, actuation and flow control solutions for iron and steel production. Supporting blast furnace systems, electric arc furnaces, cooling water networks and other critical process applications, our technologies help steel manufacturers improve process control, operational efficiency and reliability in demanding high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

Industry expertise

We solve your metal application challenges

Hot blast valves

The optimised valve design minimises process heat losses and utilises thermal insulation while reducing cooling water requirements. Hot blast valve also helps lower your operational costs.

Two lever valves

This type of valve serves as both a shut-off and safety valve for gaseous media. It includes a centrally positioned guide lever to control plate movement. The two lever valve is available in various sealing seat designs and has a welded steel construction.

Goggle valves

This valve design offers 100% shut-off of media flow, completely separating the gas main in the closed position. It is suitable for both clean and crude gases. The goggle valve can be designed as either enclosed or open and can be installed in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and swing types.
