Features
The IMI Thompson Valves D40B AO/AC Series is a high-pressure gland packed needle valve with pneumatic actuation for remote shut-off. Designed for nuclear power, aerospace, and hazardous fluid applications, it operates at up to 620 bar (8990 psi) and 230°C (446°F). Featuring a non-rotating valve disc for positive shut-off, a graphite or PTFE gland packing ensures leak-tight sealing. It meets ASME B&PV Section III standards and supports various media, including steam, helium, and boric acid. Available in threaded, butt weld, socket weld, and stub pipe connections, ensuring secure sealing in critical environments.
