IMI STI facility with structural upgrades and equipment in progress as part of an on-site expansion project.
At the IMI STI manufacturing site in Bergamo, a dedicated system is in place for handling whistleblowing reports, aligned with the wider IMI Group’s approach both in Italy and internationally. The IMI Hot Line is a confidential, independent service that supports all employees in speaking up about inappropriate behaviour or anything that causes discomfort in the workplace. Operated by a third-party provider (NAVEX Inc.), the IMI Hot Line ensures that concerns can be reported quickly, securely, and without fear of retaliation. Employees at the Bergamo site can submit reports anonymously or by providing their contact details. While anonymous reports are treated with the same seriousness, including your details can help ensure a more thorough investigation. Reports are directed to the IMI Ethics & Compliance Committee, which manages investigations and decisions related to reported concerns. The Committee works independently and does not require authorisation to access relevant documents, conduct interviews, or carry out on-site inspections. In addition to online reporting, whistleblowers may also request an in-person appointment with members of the IMI Ethics & Compliance Committee. If a report concerns a committee member, safeguards are in place to prevent them from accessing the report via the NAVEX platform. Where appropriate, concerns should first be raised through this internal reporting system—provided the whistleblower believes the issue can be addressed effectively and without risk of retaliation. Misuse of the hotline to make false claims or settle personal disputes goes against IMI’s values and may lead to disciplinary action.
