Meet the LoRaWAN Experts in North America with Actility, TEKTELIC, and IMI.
On September 12th, 2023, the second Insight Seminar organised by Actility, TEKTELIC, and IMI took place, this time in Houston, Texas. And we are happy to say that it was an immense success!
This second seminar followed the well-received first-ever IIoT Insight Seminar in Rotterdam, the Netherlands earlier this year. Just as its predecessor the US seminar was centered around the implementation of LoRaWAN solutions and provided attendees with the opportunity to meet some of the industry’s leading experts in the industrial IoT space. Representatives from industry giants such as Shell, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobile, ConocoPhillips, and Haliburton were all with us.
The event featured three highly inspiring sessions that focused on making the implementation of LoRaWAN solutions easy and accessible.
Actility highlighted the critical elements of a LoRaWAN® network and provided architecture recommendations to avoid typical pitfalls in the journey from proof of concept to a fully functional industrial use case.
TEKTELIC accentuated LoRaWAN® as the perfect solution for building infrastructure in ATEX environments. The focus was on LoRaWAN®’s long-range, low-power wireless technology allowing for reliable, secure data transmission in hazardous locations.
IMI highlighted our IMI TWTG NEON IIoT sensors as a proven and reliable solution for monitoring and collecting data in hazardous environments. During our presentation, we shared success stories from our customers and provided a sneak peek of our upcoming new products.
Q&A’s at the end of each session allowed the participants to ask questions to all three speakers and address any specific opportunities and challenges associated with their individual implementation. The day ended with networking drinks and appetisers which provided the perfect opportunity to connect with each other.
Overall the Insight Seminar was a great success, bringing together industry experts and providing a platform for individuals to learn and network.
