NEON Starting Guide

Contact Sensor (VS-CS)

Table of contents

The NEON Contact Sensor detects if the magnetic probe is in close proximity to the sensor. This consists of two parts: the sensor and the sensor magnet.

The sensor can be installed using the mounting holes of the sensor's bracket or using a band clamp. The user can install the sensor using the mounting holes by placing the bracket against a flat and earthed surface and using the screw holes or slots (designed for M6 fasteners) to fix it in place.

The user can also mount the sensor using a band clamp. Please note that in this case the bracket must be earthed as well.

Additionally, the sensor magnet can be installed by placing it against a flat surface and using the screw holes or slots (designed for M5 fasteners) to fix it in place. The sensor magnet must be placed at a maximum distance of 25 mm away from the top part of the sensor. Please refer to the following images for reference.
